This site is hosted, controlled and operated from the Republic of South Africa and therefore governed by South African law. Products for sale on this website are available to customers within the territory of South Africa only.

Privacy

BURO shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. Users agree that BURO may, from time to time, communicate with them.

Cancellation of orders

The cancellation of confirmed orders should be discussed with, and agreement obtained in writing from a director of BURO. BURO reserves the right to accept or reject any such order cancellation request at its discretion. Confirmed orders will be subject to a minimum cancellation fee of 10% of the total order plus any incurred shipping or handling charges. Please note: Custom spec Apple Mac orders cannot be cancelled.

Refunds and returns

Please notify BURO within three working days if the goods you receive are faulty, incorrect or unsatisfactory and BURO may, at its discretion, exchange or refund your purchase. Goods will only be accepted for exchange, return or refund in their original un-opened packaging. BURO does not permit the return of or offer refunds for the following products: Products that are custom configured to your specifications; Opened computers; Opened printers; Opened memory; Opened software.

Defective Items

Products sold through this web site are serviced and supported exclusively by their manufacturers in accordance with terms and conditions packaged with the products.

Apple Branded Products

If you discover what you believe is a product defect for any Apple-branded product, please contact BURO or visit any Apple Authorised Reseller. Such a defect, if any, is covered under the terms of your product’s warranty. Please refer to the warranty information and other supporting documentation that came with your product.

Non-Apple Branded/Third-Party Products

If you discover what you believe is a product defect for any third-party product, please contact BURO or the manufacturer or their agents directly for information regarding the manufacturer’s warranty.

Warranty

Please check that all goods are in full working order upon receipt. Hardware products sold through the physical or online store are serviced and supported exclusively by their manufacturers in accordance with the terms and conditions packaged with the products. The respective manufacturers’ limited warranties therefore apply. For Apple specific orders, full details of the Apple warranty cover can be viewed on the Apple web site at www.apple.com/legal/warranty.
 There are no guarantees or warranties from either the manufacturer or BURO for any software product supplied.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of information contained in the online store and of all invoices, discrepancies can arise due to model changes and stock availability. BURO cannot be held liable for items supplied that are not to the specification described. Prices are also subject to change due to fluctuating exchange rates. All prices include VAT.
